1. Logged in, navigate to the collection that you want to add a PDF to. Click on Children. Click on the Add Child button. You would then click on Repository Item.
2. Fill in the name for the Title. Select Digital Document from the Model drop down menu. Scroll down to the Date Created and add a date in YYYY-MM-DD format if you choose. Fill in any other info. Scroll down to Type and select Text from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the Viewer Override drop-down menu in the System section and choose PDF.js. Click the Save button.
3. Now you need to add the PDF. Click Media.
4. Next click the Add Media button.
5. Next click Document.
6. Fill in the information. The Name is already prefilled in from when you started to make the PDF. Click the Browse button under Document. Select the PDF that you want to add. Select Original File from under Media Use. Click the Save button to add it to your collection.
7. Click Back to site in upper left of your screen. This will take to you the PDF that you just added.
The PDF is now loaded.
1. Logged in, navigate to the collection that you want to add a multiple PDFs to. Click Children.
2. Click on the Batch Upload Children button.
3. Select Repository Item from the Content Type drop-down menu. Select Digital Document from the Model drop-down menu. Select Document from the Media Type drop-down menu. Click the box next to Original File to select it. Click the Next button.
4. Click the Browse button to select a PDF to add to the batch load. Repeat this step for each additional PDF that needs to be added to the batch load.
5. If a PDF was uploaded by mistake, click on the Remove button to right of the PDF. Click the Finish button after you are done removing a PDF or done adding PDFs to the batch.
6. You will next see a status bar. When the status bar is finished it will bring you the children page for that collection. You will see PDFs that you just uploaded.
7. Click the Edit button on each of the PDFs that you just batch uploaded. Click the Edit button on one PDF at a time.
8. Select Text under Resource Type. Scroll down to the bottom and select PDFjs under System>Viewer Override. Click the Save button when done. Repeat for the rest of the PDFs.
9. Click on the name of the PDF that you uploaded. You can click on the name of the collection that the PDFs in the breadcrumb near the top of the screen to get to where the rest of your PDFs are.
