1. Question about Quicklinks providers and whether Ex Libris planned to expand their list with the rollout of auto-enabled Quicklinks in May.
I found this list of providers in the Ex Libris Knowledge Center. As of now, I don't see any indication that Ex Libris plans to expand the current list on a large scale, but they do seem to be continuously updating it - a few have been added since last December.
More information about how Quicklinks work from the documentation:
Quicklinks appear for a record under the following conditions:
The record has sufficient metadata including a DOI or a provider ID to support reliable links.
You have full text rights for this record and at least one provider that supports Quicklinks from a collection in Alma/SFX that has a DBID. If your activation source in Alma is a collection without a DBID (for example, a locally created collection, which is displayed on the Primo/VE UI as Alma/SFX local collection), the Quicklinks do not appear. This restriction is enabled to provide close quality control for Quicklinks and may be removed at a later stage.
2. Question about certain patrons, such as grad students. who need access to Library Resources after graduation, but are expired via the patron load. What can be done to allow access?
3. Is it possible to view additional IDs and/or the last day a patron account was updated from the patron list search in Alma?
4. Is there a way to suppress damaged items?
5. Question about whether Lending or Borrowing requests that were accidentally/prematurely closed, can these be recreated?
For both types of requests, it depends on the current status of the request.
Ex. If the request has been closed and is older than a couple of days, the patron information would've been removed, so the request could not be recreated, but if the error is discovered and reported before the Anonymization job runs, the Borrowing request can be recreated on behalf of the patron, and routed to the same lender, if needed.
