Release Notes for Alma and Primo VE
In May 2024, New Features will be released as follows:

2024 Schedule Summary
- January, March, April, June, July, September, October, December - resolved issues only
- February, May, August, November - quarterly release, includes feature updates and resolved issues
- February & August - Sandbox Refresh & Primo VE Semi-annual indexing
- Data and configurations in the Sandboxes will be wiped out during the refresh.
- FLVC will backup the shared Sandbox accounts for restoration following the refresh.
Ex Libris currently maintains a monthly schedule of implementing fixes to both Alma and Primo VE for all subscribing customers, including FLVC. They refer to this work as Releases. As of July 2022, releases of new features changed from a monthly to quarterly release, and typically follow the current timeline:
- Mid-month: The Notes for the upcoming month's release are published on the Ex Libris Knowledge Center for Alma and Primo VE. FLVC will copy the notes to this site as soon as they are available.
- Third Sunday of the Month: The upcoming month's release is applied to the sandbox environments for both Alma and Primo VE for testing.
- First Sunday of the Following Month: The monthly release is applied to the production environments for both Alma and Primo VE.

Releases contain new features, tweaks to current functionality, and fixes to problems reported to Ex Libris by customers. All are documented in the Release Notes for each month.
