“I was so pleased to see the excitement and passion from Summit presenters and attendees alike for helping their students be successful through the adoption of OER and open educational practices such as open pedagogy.” -Una Daly Director, Community College Consortium for Open Educational Resources (CCCOER) 2019 Keynote
The past, present, and future of OER in Florida and nationally were covered during this two day event. To see the agenda, visit this page. Access session recordings on this LibGuide page.
Over the two days of the summit, we were exposed to great examples from faculty, students, and staff OER leaders. We heard about building collaborative partnerships, bringing in marginalized and student voices, faculty developing OER, state and national support efforts, library and librarian integrations, and students taking actionable steps to grow OER in FL institutions. We know that attendees have already begun to use those two days to strengthen and grow collaborations and networks across the state.
