Course Reserves

While it is not necessary to use the Course Reserves functionality in Alma for your course reserves - some institutions use third party software and others just change the temp location of items to their course reserves location - using the functionality is straightforward and can allow your patrons to search for their course reserves in Primo in an intuitive way i.e. by course number or instructor.

The Course Reserves workflow consists of four main components:

  1. Creating a Course
  2. Creating a Reading List
  3. Adding Citations
    1. Library Owned
    2. Instructor Copy
  4. Completing the Reading List
