The Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC) licenses various electronic resources for the state’s 28 public colleges and 12 public universities, with guidance from the Members Council on Library Services (MCLS). These shared collections are funded by the Florida Legislature as per FL Statute 1006.73 , and FLVC negotiates licensing, pricing, manages user authentication and access.
The collection includes full-text, citation, and multimedia databases, along with electronic books and journal packages.
This collection is managed and developed in consultation with FLVC's Collection Management and E-Resources Standing Committee (CMESC) and the Members Council on Library Services (MCLS).
