Printing and Email in UBorrow

There two different types of printing in Aleph for UBorrow.

1.  Lending:  Automated Printing Pullslips.  Some libraries may choose to print the Pullslip manually for each request.  Others may choose to have the pullslip printed automatically to the default printer on a designated pc used for processing printouts.

- If you do not already have automated pullslip printing setup on Aleph, please email the HelpDesk = help@flvc.org to have this setup.

- if you already have automated pullslip printing setup, but need to update the settings on a local pc.  Follow these steps:

  • Go to C:\\SUS23_XX_PROD\Alephcom\tab\print.ini  (Colleges will have FCS23, XX = 2 digit code for your instituion)
  • For the next step, you must know the UBorrow printID for you library or campus.  If you don't know your PrintID, email the HelpDesk for assistance.
  • On the first line under the !------ +, enter (PrintID     00 N P), for example: mainubp                                  00 N P

2. Borrowing:  Printing the Arrival Slip (put with the book on the Hold Shelf) & Email the Arrival Letter to the patron.

- In AlephILL , when you Receive a Request, the Arrival Slip and Letter will be generated.  Do the following to configure Printing the Arrival Slip & Emailing the Arrival Letter.
