Permalinks: Generic WAYF URLs vs Campus SSO redirected URLS
If you need a permalink to a specific resource in a database, be wary of what happens if you simply copy the URL from the address bar once logged in. It will often have Athens information in the URL, but it will route to a WAYF generic login rather than a campus SSO login. These links have a eu1.proxy.openathens.net/ as the first part of the URL.
Vendors that have a permalink generator for individual resources such as EBSCO the permalink should be fine if it is a shibboleth-style URL that has your customer ID in it rather than a redirector URL.
For the embedded URLs within other vendor platforms- you can ask those vendors to customize your embedded URLs by adding your Redirector prefix to them.
